Milkshake at the Milkshake Bar

 On the 6th of August was the Fabulous Woman Awards. This gave us an opportunity to escape the ordinary and take a day away from parenting duties. We chose to stay at the Fire & Ice Hotel in Melrose Arch. While the Fire & Ice and The Marriott Hotel are categorized as being part of Marriott Group, both hotels are entirely different.

Fire & Ice is based on the idea of Hollywood Glamour. We had the room that saw Audrey Hepburn pictures being placed on top of our bed. The room itself is rather spacious with nice walk-in closets that I love. It also makes sense why so many air hostesses call the Fire & Ice hotel their home away from home. The shower is separated from the bed by a simple white curtain. Aside from this little detail, the room is delightfully spacious and does has a red carpet (well red rose petals on a stunningly grey carpet).

The best part is that you can opt to have a milkshake from the milkshake bar for breakfast. The milkshake bar is open all day and at night and you can enjoy one of the delicious milkshakes at any time during the day or night. It is a chilly start to the day but it allows you to feel like a child again.  

Overall it is a great stay at the hotel and you can expect to be treated much like a celebrity when you stay there.
