The Noise-James Patterson
If you are as much as a James Patterson lover as I am, you must have waited for Penguin to release James Patterson's, "The Noise."
Today 5 August 2021, is the release-day of this novel.
To give you a taste of what you can expect from this thriller, think about what connotation you generally associate with a noise-negative right? Well, a strange vibration overwhelms a 16-year-old Tennent with her 8-year-old sister Sophie, the sound rising in pitch.
Next thing they know, their dad sweeps in, gets them, and drops them into a cellar. Yet the noise keeps getting louder.
Funny how I read this book being alone at home. It was only then that I realized that when you are alone, even a James Patterson thriller can seem like a horror novel.
The suspense just kept building up throughout the novel and if you are in the mood for a page-turner, this is the one.
Also, if you are looking to hear noises come from out of nowhere, this is the novel for you.
