Lingerie Letters

Due to pre and post Birthday celebrations this post got slightly delayed. However, I was all too eager to fill you all in on the surprise I received this month. The month of March holds a special place in my heart. It is the month of my anniversary of my first meeting with my fiancé, my birthday month as well as the financial year end when increases are decided.

This particular March held an even better surprise..... A letter!

There is nothing more romantic than a letter. For me a letter is the cheapest gift yet the most meaningful of them all. As most of you know I am crazy about words and the fact that people can take time out of their busy lives to pen down a few words for you has got to be the sweetest thing ever.

Since most of you know I'm walking down the aisle later this year and thus lingerie shopping has made its way to the top of my list. On a hunt for lingerie , I stumbled across the perfect lingerie site http://www.lingerieletters.co.za

The site holds an online lingerie boutique as well as a special service for ladies. Lingerie Letter is South Africa's first underwear subscription service. I was blown away by the concept. The idea that you can subscribe to have a knickers sent to your crush, your best friend or yourself. With the mere movement of your typing fingers you can subscribe to have a surprise lingerie delivered to your door or your friend's door in an instant.http://www.lingerieletters.co.za/how-it-works

I was so blown away by this idea I had to delve deeper to find out if the site really lived up to my expectations....

On March 20th I received my monthly Brief from Lingerie Letters.
What I loved: The underwear came discretely concealed in a package. The package gave no clue as to what the inner contents were.

The package: The lingerie letter was a darker shade of peach and white and it was neatly wrapped with a satin deep pink bow.

The letter: Much thought was put into the wording of the letter. It made me think of an invite the cast of Gossip Girl would receive when they were invited to attend a party.

The personal letter: The letter in the form of a postcard at the top was specifically addressed to me and made me feel really special. Lily from Lingerie letter surely knows how to make her recipients feel loved.

The Lingerie itself: Black and white is my favourite lingerie combination and I was thrilled to receive the December black and white brief. The panty was of an expensive fabric and a great combination of mesh with a dash of lace making it an ideal underwear for the day or night. The bow that graced the panty was the ideal finishing touch which added a hint of cuteness to the already sultry brief.

Subscription perks: Once subscribed one can expect a monthly intimate gift. I love it as a monthly treat from myself to myself. It's the perfect chance to spoil yourself without feeling guilty about the hefty price tag.
Lingerie Letters Service: The team are on the ball. They immediately respond to e-mails and messages. There have been much positive comments about this service and the subscribers wait enthusiastically every month to open up a lingerie letter.
Snapchat big reveal: Snapchat fans were excited to see what the letter contained. They loved the clue on the letter as to what to expect from the underwear enclosed in the package. Many friends loved the underwear itself and have asked for details to join the service.

The ideal novel to go with the lingerie letter:
Jojo Moyes- Paris for One

Be transported to the streets of Paris with Jojo's latest novel. If you loved the film or book, "Me Before You" then this is one read you won't want to miss out on. The thick novel that  reminded me of a Tiffany gift box is made up of many short stories dealing with the subject of love. Love and Paris now isn't that just the perfect combination (just like the lingerie). We all adore the idea of Paris and many a times we are more in love with the idea of  going to Paris than Paris the city itself. We often call Paris the City of Love. I particularly enjoyed the first story which spoke volumes about girl power and allowed one to see how independent girls can actually be.
If you looking for an easy read and a soppy one that will force you to believe in destiny and love then Paris for One is the novel for you.

Currently lost in Tearling as I embark on the journey with Kelsea Glynn who has just reigned as the Queen of Tearling. If you loved the series Reign than this truly is the read for you. Will do the in-depth review as soon as I complete the last few chapters.
