GIRL ONLINE

My fiancée has caught me reading this book on Saturday night which for him is the lamest thing one can do. We usually spend Saturdays together and that particular night I wasn't interested in our time together I was more focused on paging through this book. The latest book by Zoe Sugg spoke volumes to me. Being a young blogger the book was something I could honestly relate to.

The author better known as Zoella is also a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger. Check out her blog https://www.zoella.co.uk/

Basically Girl Online Going Solo is the third instalment in the Girl Online series. It is ideal to read the initial Girl Online and Girl online On Tour first but its not a train smash if you start with Going Solo. The story is simple to catch onto. Basically the book is a teenage drama which deals with the life of Penny a famous blogger. Penny is now single and alone since her blog partner and boyfriend Noah has disappeared without much more than a simple text message. His sudden disappearance has left her lonely and she misses him. Penny happens to accept a friendly invite from Megan to visit her performing arts school and it is here that Penny's loneliness disappears. Penny realizes that she thrives on helping others especially her newly made friends. Then there's Callum, the Scottish hunk who recognized her in an instant. Will Callum be the one to take Penny's mind off Noah? Will Noah continue to haunt her memories?

The cover is so attractive that one cannot help but flaunt the book. The cover alone makes you more enthusiastic about reading the book.

The story is predictable yet fun to read. It deals with friendships, relationships and loneliness in such a realistic yet fun way. It's particularly made more relatable to the 21st century teen who are familiar and actually adore teen bloggers. The read is a feel good one that leaves you feeling like you've made friends with the characters and their emotional progress by the end of the read.
