A Whiff of ParisLove
I was caught in the middle of an intense "Love" conversation this past week. Contrary to what you thinking, it was not at all the Cinderella fairytale kind of love conversation we hopelessly wish to get lost in. It was that tear your heart out conversation about how easily love evaporates.....
Well love evaporates sometimes and not all of as are lucky enough to hold on to that potent whiff of love forever but that doesn't mean we ought to settle for a deodorant smell that evaporates so suddenly into thin air..
When I was selected as part of the Rubybox campaign to be one of the first South Africans to try a mystery fragrance, I never knew I'd fall head over heels in love with the spray cans that made their way to my front door. Being no stranger to the brand and loving the ease at which the cans unlock to spray, without physically removing a lid and having the hassle of putting the lid back on, I easily fell hopelessly in love with the new fragrance.
Just like vanilla icing on cupcakes and all things sweet the Impulse new fragrances were a delight to my senses and the four walls of my bedroom too. The scent lingers for longer than usual and is a must have this summer, especially during these absolutely sunny days.
Love might not always smell like musk and vanilla but Impulse always does. Love may let you down but let downs are impossible with Impulse. So while not every story lasts, make sure you find a deodorant that does.
Speaking of love, an author to fall in love with this summer is Karen Swan. Her light reading centres around the swift scent of secrets accompanied by mystery and embellished with a hint of love. When Art agent Flora is called to Paris to assess and trace the historical lineage of paintings that have been stored in an apartment that is as thick with dust as it is with secrets, her life inevitably becomes intertwined with that of the Vermeil family. However, Xavier is intent of sending Flora packing so that she remains far away from his family affairs... Xavier's secret???? You have to read to find out.
