Fashion Forward
Fashionistas and style icons are daring, on-the-ball and experimental but most of all fashion forward trend setters are always ready and eager to learn new fashion related concepts and materials. Bearing this in mind, I took on another responsibility and started an online fashion course with Parsons Design School and Teen Vogue. (Yes, you've read right).... Teen Vogue (the famous magazine) has partnered with the Parsons school of design to launch there own online course that's accessible to anyone and everyone all over the world.

Their offered courses are advertised via social networks like Facebook and Instagram. With just a click of a mouse, you on your way to learning more about the break free from the little black dress and the move towards the season's show stealing pure white dress. So I risked the chance of losing any free time I had this year and happily begun pursuing an online fashion forward course.(Did I mentioned that the course I signed up for was absolutely free?). The introduction course is a taste into a fashion friendly world and allows you to get an idea of what is to be expected when you take a fashion leap in your Jimmy Choos and begin studying towards a career in fashion. The course includes modules like unlocking visual styles, thinking like a designer, unlocking fashion production and working in fashion media. The introduction (unlocking visual styles) has already got me curious for more and has got me one step away from signing up to learn more. I am told that stylish certificates from Parsons Design School awaits you on successful completions of all paid courses.

Tips on working through this online courses:
-Studying doesn't seem like studying when its fashion. You can complete the course effortlessly whilst simultaneously watching Katy Perry's Concert. (I can assure you, you won't be lip singing to "I Kissed A Girl", you will be too focused on the words in the fashion Bible in front of you.
-With every course (including this one), confidence gets you a long way. Success is only attainable if you believe you can succeed.
-Lastly have fun and do not make studying a chore. Besides fashion is never monotonous so studying fashion won't be boring.
I will document my learning process as I go along completing modules, uploading selfies and partaking in assignments so watch this space.
